Planning

When scheduling your travel plans, you will need to arrive at least one full day prior to your surgery.
The precise amount of time you will be required to stay in town will be dependent on your specific procedure performed and how far you are traveling, but on average our patients stay for 3-7 days after smaller procedures and 10-14 days for more extensive surgeries.
We recommend packing lightly as your trip home must not be physically strenuous.

Aftercare

It is required that every patient have a responsible adult pick them up from surgery and stay with them overnight for at least 24 hours after surgery. Public transportation such as a taxi or Uber is not allowed after undergoing surgeries that require sedation or general anesthesia. If you are traveling alone, we can help arrange for a nurse or caretaker to help with this. For more extensive surgeries, a licensed nurse or medical professional may be required to stay with you overnight for the first evening following surgery. It felt more like a well needed vacation. I had all my surgery on a Friday and I saw Dr. Foulad and Chelsea through the weekend. By the following Saturday I was at an important social function and with a little make up, no one could tell I was a week out from surgery. Some people would call this vanity. I disagree. I don’t feel 63. Why should I have to look 63.(or older!) It’s the best thing I ever did for myself. I can't thank Dr. Foulad enough. It was so worth the miles traveled to have my facelift, neck and brow lift. Their attentiveness from the consult all the way through to the aftercare has been amazing. He continues to check in with me 2 months later.  His attention to detail and his warm and caring personality made this such an enjoyable experience. I could not believe there was minimal pain and you cannot even see where the stitches were. I feel AND look like a new woman. Judge for yourself with my pictures!
